Affirmations


Introduction
Affirmations work well when it done in a proper manner. So what is the proper way affirming, to know this we should understand, what affirmations are.

Affirmations are forceful thoughts that are incorporated in our mind to get desired results.

How does this work, basic thing that we have to understand is that our mind is capable of doing wonderful things given that we channel our thoughts in a proper way. We can a have a stress free day just by affirming the same.

Important points on affirmation
  • Intensity of our affirmation plays a vital role in the manifestation of the same.
  • Regularity of affirmation also plays vital role
  • No second thought about the affirmation should be there, i.e. when affirming on sometime at the back of our mind we should not think it is not going to happen.
  • Finally the way we think also plays a vital role
  • Gratitude to the higher self after affirming is done
Example
Suppose you are travelling to your office and want a smooth way to reach your office.
What we have to do is that we have to calm our mind first and with full intensity we should put a thought in our mind that “I will have a smooth and safe journey to my work place”, what we can observe is that most of the time we will have a smooth journey (like less traffic, easy ride etc)

When Affirmations do not work
If one is supposed to endure something, Karma will not work, meaning one’s Karma always supersedes any affirmations, but it doesn’t mean that we should not affirm, it is at the time of despair that we need to affirm positively as this will mitigate the effect to a certain extent.

What type of Affirmation is Good

Affirmations that are done for the wellbeing of self and others are always good, should not be used for bad purposes as it will create bad Karma and is very dangerous for oneself.

Steps in Affirmations

Step 1 Having a clear mental picture of what you want
Step 2 Write it down with specific details - write it in present tense
Step 3 Visualization - add as much details as possible
Step 4 Act and feel as if you have already  - vacuum give away old so that it will be filled by new

Step 5 Action - Inspired action (trust your gut, intuition)
